Ford Extends Sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League Through 2015
It's one of the most popular sporting events in the world attracting more 500 million television viewers in Europe, 230 million in the Americas, 190 million in Africa and over 130 million in Asia during the 2010-2011 competition. We’re talking of course about the UEFA Champions League, a main sponsor of which is Ford.
The Blue Oval has been an official partner and vehicle supplier to the UEFA Champions League for 20 consecutive years, and doesn't plan to go away any time soon. Today, Ford announced that it is extending its sponsorship of the football competition through June 2015.
